They also have an Indian chef who ensures the impeccable quality of the restaurant. Their style of Kacchi is truly none like others and has a great kick of Indian flavor. Salaam’s Kitchen in Uttara has some of the best kacchi that you guys HAVE to try. They do not compromise on the quantity and give a generous amount of delicious meat. Pagla Baburchi, a product of Madchef, is the talk of the town. It’s absolutely killing the biriyani scene with it’s amazing Kacchi. A smokey and flavorful bomb of masala, rice, and meat that you will want to devour immediately! They cook it to perfection which is visible in the way the biriyani looks. It costs TK 500 for a plate.
5. Kacchi Bhai
If you haven’t already tried Kacchi Bhai, you’ve been living under a rock! Their basmati rice is long and full of flavor and honestly, one of the best kacchi rice we’ve tasted yet. While the rice is on the drier side, they compensate with extremely juicy kacchi meat that comes with a good amount of gravy. Tender and succulent in every bite- the meat is to die for. One plate of kacchi biriyani will cost you 270tk.
6. Dum Ladidh
What really stands out about their kacchi is the smoky flavors and smell. It immediately stands out when you take your first sniff. Here, they slow cook the meat and biriyani for up to 4 hours to make sure it’s infused with all the flavors and cooked to perfection. What is also worth mentioning is that this kacchi is not oily and very heavy like a lot of others you see. It costs TK 200 a plate.
7. Sultan’s Dine
Sultan’s Dine’s Kachhi biriyani is one that never disappoints. What they’re most praised about is their perfect style of juicy kacchi meat that is infused with flavors even within. It’s so soft and tender that it breaks apart easily. Let’s also not forget the mentionable alu (potato) and alubhukara (dried plum) that are the perfect additions to this satiating meal. This quaint little spot in the hustle and bustle of Puran Dhaka was a great find! It’s been around for many years and has been among the crowd favorite from day 1. Not to mention, the price is such a bargain at only TK 240 for half a plate.
